He is often seen alone, either at bars, walking around towns, or simply speculating local events. While bold in front of monsters and other enemies, he tends to flinch when anyone attempts to get close to him. He is short with his responses, bordering on being outright rude to whoever he is talking to. Though, Kaipen is more respectful to those that he believes - and knows - are above him, though his replies will still be just as cold and short, while not maintaining eye contact. He is a task-oriented person, and will focus on his task at hand.When talking to him, it is almost as if his mind is somewhere else. His eyes seem distant, his body still. Yet, his eyes seem to light up at the sight of an animal, even big, grotesque ones. Only when he feels as if he is alone, a smile could be caught on his face as he zones out, looking upon animals in the wild.}A Little Closer_{Once getting past his cold exterior, Kaipen is less curt with his replies and will even entertain conversation with the other person. While he is not the most verbose of people, he will tend to stand next to a person that he begins to take a liking to, or even following them around (as he is the type of person to wander off when doing things together). He is the type of person to get extremely flustered over the smallest of things, especially when it comes to being teased.He is the type of person to silently give a gift to someone that he appreciates, leaving it at their doorstep, on their desk, or even next to them when they aren't paying attention. He hates getting thanked, or any of these actions to be reciprocated, thus he tends to be elusive when it comes to showing any form of appreciation. Either that, or he would simply do things for the other person that would help them out, even if it means taking on more tasks for himself in order to make it easier on them.}Deeper Introspection_{The reason as of why Kaipen is less trusting of others is the result of a previous, unsavory experience that left his body in tatters, abandoned at the bottom of a cliff like fodder. He will refuse to talk about it, even thinking about it is enough to bring a grimace to his face. Simply asking about it is enough for him to shut down the conversation along with a cold glare and a dry response. That experience that took years from his life was enough to instill the fear of being betrayed into every fiber of his being, which is something that absolutely refuses to allow happen again.}Trivia_{Kaipen is actually fond of gardening and taking care of animals. He enjoys spending time with any of his travelling companions, but one day wishes to settle down with his own place, with a lovely garden. He is also a big fan of swimming, and will often dip his feet into water during warm weather. He also enjoys basking in the sun, as he prefers warmer weather than not.}
